Her childhood was a turbulent one. When she was only two, she was abandoned by her mother to get away from her abusive husband. In 1995, she returned back to the world of Pickler, and took custody. But things did not turn out the way she had hoped. Her grandparents took care of her from 12 up to the age of she reached adulthood. Pickler had to be busy with her younger siblings in the absence of her parents. The mother of three admitted she did not get enough time for school and began learning how to be a homemaker from an early age. Pickler had been a cheerleader in both middle school and her high school. North Stanly High School was where Pickler graduated from in 2004. Pickler also tried her hand in the world of beauty. She was a part of many films like the horror film Phenomena; the musical fantasy Labyrinth as well as the romantic comedy career Opportunities; and the superhero period drama The Rocketeer.
