Mary Marg Helgenberger, born November 16, 1958, in the United States is an actress. The 1980s saw her begin her professional career, and was recognized for her role as Siobhan in the soap opera of the day Ryan's Hope between 1982 and the year 1986. She is the most senior of her four siblings. McCain completed her schooling in The Phoenix Country Day School and Xavier College Preparatory an all-girl private Catholic high school. In 2007 she earned her bachelor's degree in art history from Columbia University. In 2017, she joined The View's morning talk show The View where she co-hosted until 2021. She was awarded the show's four Daytime Emmy award nominations for her efforts. McCain started writing a daily column for The Daily Mail. Daily Mail after leaving The View. McCain is also the author of four books, including My Dad John McCain, Dirty Sexy Politics and America You Sexy Bitch.
