In August 2020 Addison Rae was named by Forbes magazine as the highest-earning TikToker around the globe. She is also one of the most popular people to follow on TikTok. Alongside being extremely popular in TikTok Addison Rae is also highly well-known in other social media platforms such as Instagram YouTube and Twitter. The singer made her debut an artist when she debuted her single Obsessed in 2021. The track reached the fourth position on New Zealand Hot Singles charts and was also the sixth top-trending YouTube video of the on the same day. Addison Rae was also nominated for awards that are prestigious, such as the People's Choice Awards, MTV Movie & TV Awards, and Kids' Choice Awards.
